i thought this was going to be a hard mod, but i went and looked at the car... just grab a 14mm open ended wrench and use that instead of pliers. sooooo easy.

Why don't you try asking HOW its done instead??? Seems that alot of people said it was easier than it looks...and even the one guy who took it to the dealer to be done said he was surprised with how quick and flawless they did it...

Raise the back part of the seat as high as possible... look for the "screw" mechanism that raises and lowers the seat as it rotates. It does not look like the lock nut can be adjusted, but there are two small indents that you will find a wrench will fit on. There will not be much room to work so turn the wrench a bit then use the power adjust button to turn screw a bit and then turn bolt with wrench, power, turn wrench, power, turn wrench. In a couple of minutes you will have about 3/4 on an inch more headroom.

Here's one thread on it....you can make the seat go lower so you can get some more headroom. I'm 6'3" and have a sunroof but I don't have any headroom problem, so I haven't gotten around to doing this mod yet.
