yeah Im going to paint the uper and lower. Ive been wanting to do this for a long time but I just didnt know if the NAV screen surround would come off. Well I finally got off my lazy **** and just did it. It wasnt that bad, took me about a half hour to get it out of the car and to this point. Ill post pics of it done tomorrow. In the end it should look something like this

HI, what color is your Exterior!!!. ITS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOTTT!!!! I love that blue.. looks SEXXXY on that car! how much u pay for the paint job. where u get it done?

I like the idea. Are you painting the door handles as well? I also have a willow interior and I don't really like the plastic silver with the willow interior.

Good call.

Let us know the price to paint these items. Clear coat as well?

Yep doing the doors as well. It will be painted with PPG base/clear

I was kinda disappointed in the durability of the silver plastic around the stereo and A/C controls. Mines got a few scratches.

So what kind of paint are you using? I was hoping a vendor would have come out with a REAL brushed Al replacement or a CF replacement (not stick on)

Im using auto paint, PPG. The same paint I painted the car with. I work at a autobody shop. Ill also be building my fiberglass trunk next and Ill be painting that also.

Looks like a good idea, I wish I could get every part of my interior which is silver, painted the same color as my car

Your wife is right...you are crazy And I like it!!! Definately something different and I think the contrast with your interior makes it work. Nice work and I applaud your innovation.

G352NV: I like your taste.....it's over the top and bold. Painting the interior console the same as the exterior adds a retro-look like what Foose and Coddington are doing in their designs. Nice!!!

i like the idea cant wait to see the finished product, do you have any pixs of your trunk yet? and ummmmmmmm...(mumbling under my breath) how are the fenders coming along? just can't wait to see those...
