So my good friend is a morning DJ on one of the local stations down here and comes across free stuff all the time and gives it away if he can etc etc. Usually its game tickets or music but this ones a good one. he's got us 2 passes each allowing one lap with your own car and up to 90 miles an hour on the track of Homestead Miami Speadway tomorrow. how cool is that? we are not real sure what to expect but i hope i will be able to get video footage from inside my car and outside too. He tells me the only other way to get on the track is if you are a season ticket holder for the track (guess have season tickets to all track events) or have these passes which there are very few off. i went to the web site and it appears that they only offer this once a year. Hope its like what i'm imagining. i will try to get video and pics and post sometime next week. anyone else ever been on this track? Will it be one person at a time? ok see ya!

yea i guess for safety but i will tell you this, that if im allowed to have it video taped and can get it on video, i wont be doing 90. what can they do? kicked me out? fine! however, i cant screw it up for my friend who technically should have gave them away on the radio. I guess we'll see what we will be allowed and not when we get there. I assume they will make us wear helmets and who knows what other restrictions. i just hope im not driving with 30 other cars. last thing i need is some idiot in his honda civic to hit me.

 

Introduce yourself as someone who WON the tix through the radio, then you can do whatever you want on the track and your friend will be off the hook.
