sick people

I know this happens to many of us, but today I washed my car and man oh man did it look nice. Billy Bob sure as hell didn't think so, and now I have a 3" long key scratch on my passenger side door. It's through the paint and it looks real bad. Anyone know what I can do to?

Neal

The picture is too small you really can't see it, when I get my camera back in a few hours I'll take another pic..I really don't understand why people do this though. I know our cars are prone to it, but for like 8 months I've had my car, it has remained pristine, and now since some s***head had a bad day, I'll either have to repaint the car, maybe touch up might work. Who knows...? Anyone have any suggestions, just tell me. I am desperate for them..

I'm sorry to hear about the bad news... I wouldn't touch it up if the scratch is wide, deep, and long. It would still come out noticeable. Your best alternative is to repaint. Unless if your scratch isn't wide enough despite the length of the scratch, you can try Meguire's Scratch X. I got a small key mark and was able to fix it with that.

Why are people so f@3ked up? It happened twice to my Max (it was soup-up). I know exactly how you feel. I always imagined catching the **** that do these mindless acts, and hung them by their ********* in the jungles of Nam.

It was parked at our gas station. Our beater was on the left of it. Nobody can park on the passenger side because there is no parking. Some s***head was walking and had to have done it. I'll try to get my parents to get the surveillance tape, maybe I can see who it was.

Sadly I was only there for about 1 hr. 15 minutes. At my school, everyone knows that the car is mine and noone would do it there anyways/I washed my car right as I got home and everything was perfect. I get out to fill up gas and I notice this white crap on my car, I went closer to examine and I saw that the paint was missing.

|-----------------| thats how long the scratch is (about 2.75 inches)

Its sort of deep on one end, and then it tapers off. I'm not sure how to describe it better, I'll get pics up later. My dad has the digital camera. My dad was extremely pissed as this was his car first and then he gave it to me.

Thanks guys for the sympathy. It's acts like these that make me gracious that there are other people who understand the pain of seeing something like that happen to your car.

Man I feel for you. It is sh*ts like this that makes me wish for U.S. to institute "Caning" like Singapore. **** like that should be F*CKING Caned and scarred just like what they did to your car. F*CK, SH*Ts like this pisses me off. Treat others like how you would like to be treated.
