Stock rims and tires.

the '03 '04 350z's put more than 10rwhp than the G35 so it doesn't surprise me that the 05's put more than 10rwhp than the 05 G35's.

My thought on putting 230rwhp was more towards the dyno machine, not my car. Neffster dyno'd his car previously with Crawford Plenum, cats, ypipe ( i believe) and got 247rwhp. He now has added headers and a new cat so I was expecting higher #'s, he only put 245rwhp and I was next to run. I figured his mods should atleast put 20rwhp so I would have been fine with 230rwhp, maybe due to lower readings on this dyno. Like someone else said, you can't compare different dyno's on different days, so no I wouldn't have been "choked" if I got 230rwhp....but I didn't.

Here is a link to an 05 350z dyno on another board. They made 255hp with I guess the only difference being drive shaft length. No I don't beleive they made 2 engines with one having a 2hp advantage. http://my350z.com/forum/showthread.p...highlight=dyno

I agree with Johnnycham. I would be choked if my 300hp car put only 230 to the wheels
The 350z driveshaft is also made out of carbon fiber. This should help reduce drivetrain loss.

Is that stock as in 18s or stock as in 19s? I am not all that surpised your friend did not get big results from those mods. There are some interesting threads on my350z.com about the ECU and it's affects on modding. http://www.my350z.com/forum/showthre...engineer+phone
There are a couple of guys claiming a bit of success but most are not getting what they thought they would.
I was judging my expectations on RWHP on the old 300ZX which was also rated at 300hp. Around 240-244rwhp is what I am recalling but it was a much different car. Judging from what the 287hp 350z did http://my350z.com/forum/showthread.p...highlight=dyno I think anywhere from maybe 238 to about 250 from an 05 M/T G depending on the dyno and the day rather than necessarily on the car.

I still can't believe the sedan put 241rwhp with an 04, was he completely stock?!?!

Also, I wouldn't say the 05's are the winner in the dyno area, you did make 7ft/lb more torque but 8rwhp less.
My 2nd time out, i ran a 14.33 @ 96.96mph. We need to get together and head out to Bithlo to test out our driver skills.

I know, thats why I want to go out again...I only got those 2 runs in that one time.

Nuck~ I just remembered that Neffster had stock rims on last time he dyno'd 247, this time he had on heavier 19" Piaa's. I'm sure that hurt him some.

My car is stock, as stock 19's that come with them.
