full size spare in trunk

Can a full size spare fit in the trunk on the coupe? I don't have access to my car right now, so I can't try it myself.

If I remember correctly, a full sized spare will not fit in the Coupe's trunk.

I haven't tried it but it sure does not look like there would be any way.

I couldn't put a flat rear back there when I needed to. I was away from home and luckily had a large towel in the trunk and covered the passenger seat with it and held the tire ballanced with my right had as I drove to get it repaired. Sidewall puncture = new tire. I'll call the service next time!

i cant believe for what these cars cost that they didnt come with a full size spare.

if i cant fit one in the trunk then im just going to order one and keep it at home and remove the half size one and jack and take some weight off lol.

i wonder how much they weigh any how?

AND yes i just brought back an ooollllld post

I have a front 350z wheel in my trunk as my spare. It just doesn't fit flush with the carpet on top.

Since the tires are non rotational on the Coupes, would the full size wheel fit on the front or the rear in an emergency?

If it were me, I'd try to carry a full size rear sized wheel/tire.

Reason? For the front it won't matter, but for the rear it keeps the differential from getting excess heat from the diameter difference if you put a front end diameter tire on the rear (ie not matching rear tire diamteters)

I put the front in there because it had more tread than the rears and I know it clears the Brembos without having to test fit it.
