Rim Experts, I need your help ASAP!!!

OK, I was going to place an order for some wheels and tires and thought I had made the right choices on the sizes but after talking with someone locally from this forum, he's got me thinking....

I was going to order 20X8.5 all around with 245/35/20 all around. For a myriad of reasons he says I should go 20x8.5 with the 245/35/20 in the front and 20x9 with the 275/30/20 on the rear.

Also the offsets are a question, I cant remember what they are but I think they are 34mm and he says it needs to be in the low 20s.

Everyone please chime in with their 2 cents and let me know what I need to do!!! Thanks!!!!!

IMO..... Safe offset is around 25et front and rear and will clear fender and Brembos, mild aggressive offset low 20's ( 22et ) fender roll unlikely ( but may depend on wheel brand ), very aggressive high teens ( 17et ), may require some fender rolling ( may depend on brand ).

Running the same size tire all around, may wreak havoc on your VDC....

You should really run a 9.5" rim in the back. That's the optimum wheel width for a 275 tire. That's what I'm running. I'm running +25mm offsets on the front, and +20mm on the backs... No fender rolling necessary. At least with Work Rims anyways.

Here is a pic of another car with the same rims, it looks like his wheels are tucked a bit especially in the last pic. The rims are Foose Speedsters.
