Tinting back 3 only.
Tinting back 3 only.
Has anyone tinted the back 3 windons only on a coupe?
I am considering to get tinted but where I live, (like a lot of other places now) it's illegal to tint the front windows on the doors.
Is it better off without the tint all together if only back 3?
Your thoughts and opinion would be much appreciated
.If you have any pics of 3 window tinted ones that wud be appreciated too.
Make of film is Sun-Gard, CND$110 for the back 3 windows thru a group buy.
Thanks in advance!
ya is illegal to tint the front......but if u do them 50% all around....cops won't bother u unless u r speeding or something..and they might bring the tint up..and I think just tint 3 windows DARK will look somehow weird.....i like all around as well

I forget what the legal limit is on the front/side windows here in Texas, but I usually just do that all the way around for a uniform look. It's not as dark, but it turns out looking more elegant.
If you can't tint the front/sides, maybe you should go for a lighter tint on the other 3 windows to minimize the contrast between the front/sides and rears.

I have, on occassion, been in a situation where being pulled over would have been a bad thing. A stupid ticket for too-dark tint on the front windows would have been the least of my concerns... ...yet enough warrant a traffic stop.
Thanks for the feedback guys!
Yah, I think I will either don't tint at all or risk with 50% on the 5 windows to be consistent color.
You are right, back 3 only would look weird.
I live in BC Canada and tint regulation is different for every Province (States) BC is toughest with no tint on front windows period.
I rarely see cars with front tinted here.

I have the three rear done with 50%. My car is black so the color is consistant with the body of my car. It doesn't look bad in my opinion, but it did take some getting used to...
