Question Motordyne PlenumSpacer 4real?

Give me the facts!!!

I'm wondering for $10 for this plenum spacer by motordyne engineering, the engine gets +10HP; while a Crawford Plenum costs $330 and gets +9HP!!!

If this is true, then why...

The Tornado gives HP doesn't it?

$10? WTF? They were $160 shipped with the group buy...

Do some research in technical and modification forums... better yet, do a search and you will find more info than you need.

Tornado? Again, WTF? Tornado is a scam. Motordyne spacer is a quality piece... they are totally different and not related in any way.

rookie84 is right. the $10 spacer might have been some of the guys' tests with multiple $2.50 oem nissan gaskets stacked one on top of another. I believe it was somewhat effective and had the same effect but people feared leaking. and even for $160 (or the $260 reg. price), the motordyne piece is still the the most bang for the buck mod. it yields noticeable performance gains in responsiveness, power, and sound.

I have a MD spacewr but I don't see where you get the $10 amount from. It is worth it. I recomend it. I know some people have both the crawford plenum and the spacer.

Find the other thread, it ain't doing jack for the '05's. If you have '03 or '04 it's a good mod.

Hey tek you need to start with facts to get what you're looking for. Where the heck would you get $10. from and what's the deal comparing it to the Tornado which is obviously a gimmick??
Let's close this thread off since there is a good motordyne spacer one started already under modifications and we're only going to get silly replies to this.

One person it didn't work for.......I did a baseline run last weekend, still waiting for my 1/2" spacer to come in to do another dyno run, if I gain no power then I think it is safe to make that assumption.........then I will be puting my spacers up for sale that day!

His results seem accurate to me, and from his words, I believe him. Good luck on yours, I seriously doubt you'll see any substantial gains.

I totally believe him too, but you can't write off the spacers off of one person...no?
