I see G's all over the place also... The main thing, I think... is to make yours look different...

I would have unconditionally agreed with you 3-4 months ago. Since I started working in downtown Fort Lauderdale, I could swear I see more 6MTs (Brembo-equipped, that is) than autos. What's more, lately I've been driving around numerous parking garages close to work for Florida G35 Club recruitment purposes. In every garage I leave 5-6 business cards on coupes alone, and it happens that half of them or so are 6MT. Maybe downtown FTL doesn't provide a realistic representative sample, but it never occurred to me before how common manuals are.

i see Gs in NYC all the f*ckin time. everytime i open my damn eyes i see one. i hate that sh*t. i thought i was special!

those of you with a G, stay the f*ck away from me. if you see me, go the other way. ill do the same. if you see me parked, dont park next to me. if your next to me, dont talk to me. dont give me the thumbs-up. dont even look at me. lets just look ahead and pretend we dont have the same car.

im going home now. if i see another damn G im going to f*cking drive my car off the f*cking highway!

ok im kidding

Well, the G is in its 4th year, so you kinda expect that. I got mine in 10/04, so it was the earlier batches of 04s. Definitely not as common then. I don't like seeing them all over the place, but its just a testament to how great of a value our cars are. But yes, the goal is to personalize yours and make it look stand out. Friends don't let friends drive stock!

When I got mine back in 03', it was truly a rare sight, i used to get looks, stares, questions, props. Now in 05' I see at least 3-4 everyday, sometimes its the same cars since they take the same roads I take. Still get the looks, stares, questions, and props.

One of the reasons why I miss my Nissan 300ZX 2+2 TwinTurbo.

In a company of 50 people, we have 4 coupes. G coupes are a dime a dozen in So Cal, I was just happy I didn't see too many Lakeshore coupes around. Then my neighbor bought one last week.

I live in metro Detroit area and i RARELY see a G coupe. I have an 04 6MT and maybe have seen 4 or 5 like it. We only have 2 dealerships in the area and I still had to drive to Ft. Wayne, Indiana to find the 6MT that I wanted. The sedans are all over the place tho.
