Quote: I have the same problem. I could actually hear the sound a bit before I put the Pop Charger on, but once the intake was added, the sound definetely became exagerated. My dealer was a bit perplexed at first, but at least I have it on record with them. There's a window where you can hear the noise on accelaration. It's well worth it though when you nail it and the engine turns into a V8!
Tha't sounds like a cheap mod to get two more cylinders added to the block.

don't worry about that sound, it's the turbo spooling up.

Ok guys i'm sorry I made a typo, no big deal and its not necessary for you to get all sarcastic. Yes, this is my first time modding a car, and yes i was concerned when i first heard it, and I thought maybe something was installed incorrectly. I do like the sound, I just wasn't sure if it was normal. Now my turn to be sarcastic; this is a forum where people ask questions, isn't it?

you've got to ignore dorks like SpeedyGP. Yes, this is a place for questions and your question is a good one.
As for the sound, the roar you get from the Pop Charger is schweeeeeet! The noise you get on slight acceleration is the question...If I'm correct? You do get used to it, but I don't like it. If there is a fix out there, I'd love to hear about it????

No sweat hockey player. Good luck with future mods. You've made it through the first one and put up with some of us jokesters too.

Thank you...thats all i wanted to hear. I've got my clear corners on, aluminum pedals, POP charger, z tube and a nice fresh wax job (and wheel wax as well). All goes well with the rear spoiler and brembos that came with it and next week my front spoiler comes in, so after that i should be good to go for a little while. Any other suggestions? I am going to buy the 1" lowering kit this summer and maybe side skirts...but I am drawing a blank on what else i can do. MIGHT do new exhaust, but thats a little pricey at the moment.

Thanks,
