Hey everybody. Just got a quick question. Just bought an Infiniti G35 coupe and I was wondering what does the REV stand for? It's always on and on the center console right next to the speedometer. Just wondering.... Thanks.

 

its a shift light!

go to your tripmeter and set the rpm's at which the shift light will turn on...

and no you cant turn off the "REV" light

 

And checkout you owner's manual, it's in there, in the section with all the other panel lights and warnings.

fyi, my owners manual was missing this info, i guess i got one of the old ones...

 

You might have gotten an '04 manual ....
You'll be missing other minor stuff too then, like the tire pressure warning light (I think it's only on the '05 ?)

no i got an 05 manual but it was lacking some info...

btw, thw tire pressure light came on my 04 also
