The bolt pattern is different, since the Apex'i was not intended for our car. Only way to make it work is to modify the MAF bolt patter to accomidate it.

i mean when you connect the intake, there are three main peices i can think of; the first part (like the z-tube) then the center piece which contains the MAF, and then the airbox and filter...if you change the airbox like to stillen or ARC or w.e, cant you just screw in the apex'i to the center piece and install the box???

)While I don't have personal experience with the A'PLEXi air filter I hear it's among the best available. Here are a couple pictures of my hybrid G35 intake system? By the way the JWT and Stillen Air filters are directly interchangeable.

The inside is actually pretty close to Apex'i, except the Apex'i has only a plastic funnel where the JWL seems to have a combo filter+plastic funnel. But hey, who the heck knows if that is any different
