"If anyone one ever asks this question then they should just get the automatic."

Sorry almighty wise one! I'm in the market to ethier get the G35c, or a 350Z, and apparently I don't have my facts straight, and that's why it was a question, and not a statement!

What would it take to change out the brakes on the AT to Brembos?

An awful lot of money - and it wouldn't be worth it, that's for sure. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy to have the Brembos, but according to what I've read, the increased stopping power versus the standard calipers simply isn't worth the expenditure.

IMHO, the reason to get the 6MT is pure driving fun. Better control in corners, the joy of rowing through the six gears, that's what it's all about. Besides, no insults intended, but for me, when I look in the window of a car like that, I cringe seeing an automatic. It simply doesn't look as if it belongs.

Now, as far as mods go, a poster noted above that if you're going to do heavy engine mods like a turbo or nitrous, that you really ought to have the manual. Well, for turbos that's fine, but for nitrous I have to disagree. I wouldn't want to put a nitrous system that gives any significant hp boost into a manual car, unless you're VERY confident of your shifting abilities... one blown shift with the laughing gas on and you could easily blow your engine.

i actually know a bunch of people with superchargers in their AUTO cars. No turbos tho. and their cars work with the SC very well. a SC or Turbo are the only major engine mods i would do to a g35 if i had one.
