Thumbs up Just ordered a G35 Coupe Tonight

I've been reading the board for a couple of weeks and I think the car looks awesome. I went ahead and just ordered a Silver G35 5AT Coupe with the Premium Pkg, Sport Pkg with 19 inch wheels, and the complete Aerodynamic Body Kit. Invoice was $35,045 and I got it for $500 over Invoice with no Processing fee ($399). They say the car may not arrive until the end of July. In the meantime, I'll just have to ride my Busa and R1 around until the car arrives.

Congrats and real nice bikes man..I'm 19 now, and no way I can afford the G or at least the amount I give my parents for it and a bike with insurance. I am thinking though in a year or two to get a used cbr600. I want to eventually end up with a Ducati.. The 999R is my favorite bike.

You sure that you have to "order" the car? I would think that 5AT should pretty easy to find on the lot, maybe at different dealership, just got one last sunday, without the bodykit, didnt have to wait single day!

Thanks Neal540, I started with a Kawasaki ZZR600. After a year I picked up the 04 Busa and just picked up the 05 R1 a couple of months ago. Still breaking in the R1. When you get a bike, get insurance with State Farm, they go by CC's, not by oohhhhh it's a Busa so $2K+/yr like Progressive.

I live on the East coast and the closest dealer to have it was in PA. I usually order all my cars so that no one has had a chance to put any hard miles on it from a test drive. I usually want to break them in properly too. Did you had the Body Kit?

Congrats Busaman and enjoy the car. It won't match the speed of the bikes but you'll be travelling in style.

LOL, That'll be much slower than the 'Busa, but lot's more comfy and stylish.
Congrats Busaman and welcome to 'Driver.

Good choice on vehicle, and I'm proud of you for ordering exactly the car you want.

I did the same thing and had to wait about 90 days for the entire manufacturing and shipping process, but let me tell you that the G is worth the wait.

Even harder than the wait to get the car is getting through the break-in period. 4000 RPM comes mighty fast in 1st.

That's a good thing because my dad can just insure himself on the bike like he has on my car and we'd save a lot. We've had state farm since like 1980...

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Can't wait to officialy be in the G Club. I was reading elsewhere on the board about paint matching issues with the bumper and body panels not matching well, especially on the white and silver. Is this a noticeable difference, because I ordered the Silver. I currently have an Acura TL and I never noticed any matching issues.
