6MT's in your area
I'm the only G coupe period in my area. Maybe 4 within a 60 mile radius of where I live but thats it. People think a UFO is fueling up in my town when they see me. lol

I haven't seen many coupes in my area, west Philly. Seen lots of sedans, but they're mostly driven by old folks who wouldn't wave or just glare at ya for flashing
I love the 6MT though... my dealer told me that 1 out of 10 people will get a stick. They don't have sticks sitting on the lot. Most of the time you have to order it in.

I too only see 1 out 10 or 10% that are 6MT, I myself can't drive anything other than Manual, even my commuter car is clutch. When ever I notice a G my eyes go right to the "Caliper"... is it "BREMBO"...
I've only seen one other 6MT here in Chicago and it belongs to a woman who parks a few spaces over (on the fringe of the lot) from me at work. I've seen a few with Brembos but when I look in the window I see the auto...can't always rely on the brakes to tell you since you could get the wheel/brake upgrade without the manual.
Personally, I love manual but it is a pain sometimes in traffic. Everytime I get to really open my car up though it puts a big smile on my face and reminds me why I love this car so much.

I live in New York and only 1 out of every 25 or so coupes is a 6MT. I tend to disregard the auto coupes now because they're a dime a dozen in Yuppiechester County. I see very few 350Z Track models either...only about 2 since I got my coupe. No Brembos anywhere......save for STI's in my area and we have too freaking many of those too.

Just like someone else pointed out, I drive an AT because of the rush hour driving/talking on cell/scribbling notes on notepad. There are times when I find myself on an open road and wish i had the 6MT... but the tiptronic is a good compromise. Also, everytime I see another G coupe, I get ready to wave... but they don't even look my way. I think it's the fact that I wear a suit and tie for work everyday. Whenever they wave, it's usually on a weekend when I'm in a T-shirt and cap.
I have no regrets at all for getting the 6MT. There only a few 2005 around here in Sac. that I've seen. On a usual day, I can go by the day w/o seeing any G period. On the days that I do, its usually only a few though. I'm just happy though, knowing that I have a kinda rare car. I love it though, sometimes I would just smile out of no where in my car. Our car is just a sexy beast..I swear...ehhehe
I can only speak for CA, but I think most people here get the auto because of traffic. I'm young and have had auto cars my whole driving life. I was ready for the manual and the more sporty feel of controlling the gear box. When I bought my 6MT in the Bay Area they definately only had two 6MTs vs. a TON of ATs... Luckily they had my black/black 6MT. I love it everytime I get in to drive it. Even in traffic, you just get used to it! I just think it's a demographic thing... age/income/married/where you live
