This saturday was my graduation and on the way to the center where it was being held this rock just hits my windshiled and now I have this big 14 inch crack in my windshield. Luckily I got the Road Hazard warranty which is only $395. I called the dealer to report this and get my new windshield and he told me good thing I got that extra warranty because the windshiled itself costs $1000. I was happy I got it. Anyone else get this? I think it's a good investement, it also covers rim scratches.

 

You're probably covered by your auto insurance already. I have AAA insurance in California and they cover windshield cracks/chips with NO deductible even though I have a deductible on comprehensive and collision. A couple of years ago I got chip repaired on my mercedes for $0.
