UV protection
I stand behind Zaino. On my lesser cars I use NXT, however, on the cars I'm committed to and that I intend to keep, I go with Zaino. I find the finish to be flawlessly liquid in appearance. Plus, Zaino has UV protection (40). Now, I don't know how that correlates to sunscreen protection for humans, but, you've got to figure that any UV protection is better than no UV protection.
BTW, anyone tried Z-8 yet?

used to be a huge Zanio fan. And I am still with their leather cleaner...that stuff is the best.
However, I think their wax gives more of a plastic look than a depth look. I still rate it up there with the best, but all of my cars are black, so I like Pinnacle Souveran. And you thought zanio was high in price...HA!

You guys are killing me...I have the Zaino package sitting in a box for 2 weeks now.....waiting for the weather to clear up. I'm a Zaino virgin....stop teasing me with pictures....I'm not 13 anymore

It's not a matter of 'shininess' but instad that it doesn't give the '3-D' look that natural waxes give. Granted carnauba waxes will not last nearly as long as a paint sealant, but I just don't like the look of silicon-filled waxes/sealants. My wax of choice right now is Griot's Garage Best of Show Wax. It doesn't seem to last as long as other waxes I've used and you have to mail-order it, but the shine, depth, and clarity it provides are second to none.
Don't get me wrong, Zaino is a great product. I guess I'm just on the other side of the fence on this topic.

Zaino will give you a greater shine but nowhere near the depth of a carnauba wax, especially somethign like Zymol Concours. With Zaino, what I've personally seen is that you tend to see more of a reflection of what's around the car instead of the actual color of the paint. It all depends on personal preference in which one is 'better'. I personally like the depth, but that's just me.
Also, Griot's Best of Show, Zymol, and other carnaubas are basically the only waxes I've ever heard of being applied to Concours show cars because of the depth they offer. Granted cars like these are garage/climated-control kept so how the wax holds up to the elements really does not matter, nothing IMO looks even close to a carnauba wax.
