Has anyone noticed that when you first turn on your headlights they seem to have a blue color to them but after being on for a while they seem to turn more white ?

Is this just my eyes playing tricks on me ?

Xenon lights need a bit of time to come up to "operating temperature." It's the lights warming up that causes the color shift. Cool, huh?

Yeah, but I wish there was a way to control the color temp .. I kinda like the blueish look better than the bright white.

Yeah they do turn white but they still have a bluish tinge to them. At least I assume they do since I see Acura TLs and CLs and they have HID Xenon lights too. It's not as blue as when you first turn them on but there is still a hint.
