Broke my 2 week Old G

Well this is my first time posting here on this site, although I was waiting to post until I had some pictures, I thought I would go ahead and let you guys know what happend to my New 05 g35 6mt.

8:45 As Im turning out of my bank making a left hand turn onto a high traffic highway here in Atlanta. I see a chance to make the left and gas it while in first gear. I went to release the clutch and sure enough, it wouldnt release. the clutch fell completely to the floor and would not retract back to its original position. Since I still had the gas all the way to the floor almost, the rev limiter kept singing and singing. Sounded horrible. I released the gas and coasted to the middle turning lane on this highway. The smell of the clutch was all over the place. I can still actually smell it now. Anyway, When I stopped I turned the car off. Sat there and tried to pull the clutch back up with my hand to its original position. After a couple of minutes of trying, it went back to where it was suppose to be. I was able to turn the car on and drive it 1/2 miles to the infiniti dealership. The clutch was chattering sooo bad it was disgusting, made me sick to my stomach. As I pulled in the tech could smell the clutch and told me even before he test drove it I would need a new clutch. Then he took it for a ride, came back a minute later and said I need a new clutch, compression plate, and some other things. I cant believe this happend. Im really bummed out.

well thats my story for today. Has this happend to anyone else here?
oh.. Car: 05 G35C 6MT Black on black aero package, sport, navi.

I'd demand a free extended warranty. Due to the bad clutch, you were forced to break the recommended break-in procedure which is not to go above 4k rpm. As a good faith measure, I would ask for this just in case the engine goes bad due to not following the "proper" break-in procedure outlined in the manual

all the parts and labor will be covered under warranty, correct?

some manufacturers would try to claim abuse.

I already have a extended warrenty with this car that the dealership gave me when I purchased it. And they are going to cover it under warranty. I just cant believe this happend. When I had an 05 Maxima 6MT the entire tranny had to be replaced at 11k. I dont want to start hating the new car because once I do, Ill trade out of it and take another hit. I traded in an 05 Audi A6 for this car. 10k hit with the trade in.

The clutch always felt a little weird since day one. I thought it may be been just because of the torque.

Ahhh, finally someone with the same problem as me. I gased it in 2nd gear right after the break-in period last week. Clutch fell straight to the floor and gas pedal stuck. I haven't brought it to infiniti yet because ive been busy but i will bring it in this week for sure. I know why my gas pedal got stuck but the clutch is a whole different story. Did the warrenty cover it?

I don't think the warranty will cover the clutch...cause it's wear and tear item, same goes with brake pads, etc....BUT, if for some reason, something else caused it to fail, then I'm pretty sure it's covered....

If it doesn't get covered under warrantee, then it's bull****. djskyy, if the clutch pedal gets stuck to the floor, then it's not a problem of it being a wear and tear item. Even if the clutch is beaten to death, it shouldn't get stuck to the floor, period.
