Lost my automatic shift **** clip. What can I do??

So here I am taking off my stock 04.5 shift **** and I'm in my garage with the windows down... I take off the clip and if you're not careful it comes shooting off. Well mine went straight out the window and I can't for the life of me find it. Now I'm really stuck with the stock **** not working. What can I do? Will the dealer require me to buy a complete **** or can I get just the clip possibly somewhere else??

On a side note, I'm installing the Momo automatic **** and the rubber cap which you're supposed to fit onto your stock **** is just stuck inside the Momo shifter now and I can't remove it. The Momo button doesnt work or push down because of the rubber cap. Any suggestions here as well??

Try and get the rubber out, and cut the top of the rubber off.

Yeah he probably did. I'm trying my best to take the rubber stop out. Its a pain that its lodged in there so good. Any ideas or tools you think I should use? As it is now Im trying to catch it by the sides and see if I can pull it out but that hasn't been very successful.

As far as the clip as well for the stock auto ****. Does anyone have an idea where I can get a replacement for it?

Best bet is to call around local wreckyards and inquire about picking apart one of their units.

Anyone know of a place where I can purchase the "C" clip from the ****? I called my dealer and they're a bunch of 5 year olds asking me what clip I'm even talking about?
