Hotchkis or Stillen for Sway bars?

I have seen and hear some swear by both, but what are the pros and cons that I am looking at here?

hotchkis dont haver the rings so they dont seat properly, they shift around and thats why everyone is hearing the squeaking sound...

stillen, stock, nismo, and eibach ALL have the rings!

is there a part you could pick up at Home Depot that could be used as rings?

I was considering stillen to begin with. So far I am sticking with it unless I hear some horror stories, or a better buy for the same dollar...

Yes, this is a BIG problem on the Hotchkis they need to fix this.

I use Stillens and they are great stuff.

Thats a good question. I would hope there are not any interferences.

i got the hotchkis and i hear squeaks from the front whenever i go over a bump or a dip. it's annoying but i think that problem will go away after it's lubricated. think it happened when i went into a puddle of water.
other than that, hotchkis is great.

sqeaks occur only due to poor lubrication not the bar design. I think thats where people think that sqeaking occurs due to poor design.

I had sways on my other cars and YES sometimes they seak. I just sprayed some lithium grease and solved that problem.

I've used swaybars on my other car and previous cars and never had a squeak.
I also use white lithium grease.

biggest difference is that all the aftermarket sways ive had all had the collars
already welded on the bar so the bar does not slide left/right. the grease is never
exposed to air (so to speak) since the bar never moves out of its position from
the mounts... I think it is a design deficiency when they do not include the
collars. Hotchikis has some great stuff, but that bar needs collars.

I've had my HS for over a year now so far no squeeks. One reason they are hearing this is that they did not put enough silicon grease on the fittings. Remember the HS come with urethane bushings the Stillen doesn't. The Stillen uses the same stock bushings that comes with the car unless you buy it for extra. I'm happy with my sways just be careful on what setting you put the sways in. Never ever put it on stiff on both front and back it will just upset the balance on your car. I have mine soft in front and medium on the rear to me that is the best setup for now. My car is seating on a set of STechs which I will be changing soon. I will adjust the setting as I go along. Here are a few pics of my sway when I installed it.

Thanks for the photos & comments, Glenn P. Are swaybars directly bolt off the old one and bolt on the new one? Do you have to remove anything else for access reasons?
