Good Deal or No?

I wasn't going to ask this question, b/c TO ME, I think I got a good deal and that's enough for me, but I'm just curious as to what you all think as well.

I just got a 03' 6MT three weeks ago. It's Brillant Silver, with Stone Interior (VERY SWEET COLOR COMBO!!!!!!!!!!)

It has the rear Spolier, no front lip (plan to get), no splash guards (ptg), no NAV (don't want). But besides that, it's got everything else you can get for the 03's. Brembo's, Homelink, Bose, Leather, Heated Seats, Smokers Package, etc etc etc...

It is in *MINT* condition, which surprised the heck out of me (which is why I'm driving it now too). Exterior is flawless as is the interior.

Please believe me when I say *STILL HAS NEW CAR SMELL*. How??? Who the F* knows, but damn it sure as heck smells like new.

Has 17K

After tax+tag and title paid $30K

Edmunds lists it's worth as: $33K

I'm EXTREMELY HAPPY so it really doesn't matter what the outcome is, but still just "Curiosity Killed the Cat".

Thanks Guys. Best Car Club I've ever joined. Belong to ASOG.net and ASEC.net for anyone else here that owns a Dodge Avenger and LOVES that car too, although it's slow as P*ss, LMAO! Still, I do LOVE LOVE LOVE my VENGE, and now he has a playmate, the soon to be SKYLINE!!! (Changing rear Badges)

couple questions, remarks:

- You wrote it's a 03' ...as far as I recall, the stone interior comes on the 05' only. the 03'-04' models have either Graphite or Willow.

Something doesn't look right with the price you paid (even when assuming you bought it on the private party market)... I just priced out my 04' Coupe, 6MT, Premium package, and NAV, same mileage and came out $31,460 with Excellent condition on KBB.

Sorry, but if you ask me, you overpaid...

I believe urs is b4 TT+L. Which would put the DO price around $33,000 give or take a few hundred. He got a fair price. Not bad, not a steal either. Enjoy bro!

Kelly Blue Book Price Tag............$30,620 Private Party Value.

Good new for us G owners. The G is really holding its value. That is Privat Party Value. Retail is $33,355.

I would say that price is not too shabbe.

The local VW dealer has an '04 Coupe with 14,000 miles on it and it has bad curb rash on one of the wheels and they are asking over $36,000. Ridiculous.

The Salesman told me it was Brillant Silver with Stone interior which was a *rare* combo for an 03'.

Does anyone have pics of their Stone interior that I can see, to compare with mine????

What does "WILLOW" look like?

The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history . This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions.

All the quotes from KBB and Edmunds are WITHOUT tax+tag+title, I just realized that...well of course it is...but just didn't think about it, so if you add those into the *mix* those numbers would jump some.

I'm losing, 6 Screwed, vs. 5 Golden

LOL!!!

Oh well. I'm thrilled with it!!

-One Proud "G" Owner!

Anyone else here own or did own a Avenger? Just curious if there are some other ASOG "old school" members in here...??
