15 months ago my coupe was shipped from Riverside Infiniti in SoCal to my house in Portland, OR (almost exactly 1000 miles) for $600. I can't remember the name of the shipping company, but it arrived on a flatbed capable of holding 2 cars -- not a covered carrier. All the protective plastic from the factory was left in place, so the car arrived dirty, but with no scratches or dings. Gas prices have gone up a lot since then, so I imagine it would cost more now.

The Grubbs www site details the shippig costs, IIRC. It was $700 to anyplace in the lower 48.
