Let me ask you guys something about the transmission. When you guys test drove the G35 at the dealer did you feel that the gears are kinda short between 1,2,3? I'm not going to compare this car to a accord cause there is none but in the accord i could usually pull 2nd gear to 30-40mph but when i test drove the G it bucked when i shifted from 3rd to 2nd gear right before i was going to take a curve. What mph are the proper shift points for 1,2,3?

i was just slowing down and then downshifted
Well the Accord is a 5spd, longer gears, of course you can take 2nd to 30-40 mph. I usually shift into 2nd at ~15mph or so, 3rd at 25-30 and 4th at 40.. that's being VERY conservative and shifting between 2.5-3k rpm... like he said you need to rev-match, otherwise even with proper timing it won't be smooth.

ok that was my first time driving the G. I will keep note about rev matching since i will be driving one daily come next friday
. i will break in slow not passing 4k RPM until maybe 800-1k miles. This is the first time i buy a new car so i will have to learn not to unleash it from the get.
