ummm...

here's a seemingly stupid question... what's the point of having the concealed display if the freakin V1 is on your passenger side visor???

isn't the point of it to "hide" it from sight???

(they're illegal here in Canada, and some US states)

Do you guys leave them on when you park and leave your car? I mean, is it safe to leave it there? I have never heard of windows being blasted to steal a radar detector, but then again, I havn't lived in the US all my life.

I personally don't leave mine in the car (Plain view) after I shut the car off I remove from window stand and place into the case that came with my Solo2 and lock it up in the glove box.

there are no dirt circles to clean, as I just take out the valentine out of the suction cup holder so the suctions stay on all the time.

When the cocealled display is hooked up, there are no lights that appear on the main unit on the passenger side visor. Thus, radar indicators are completely out of sight from people/cops that are behind me. The only lights that are one are on the concealled display which is located low enough not to be seen in the back.

I don't know where u live, but radar detectors are legal in BC. Alberta it's illegal.

I see... but what about when the radar detector doesn't go off for use of laser, and the cop pulls you over.. leans in to the car...

and I'm in Ontario.

That's why exactly I purchased the Escort Solo2, it's battery operated and can pulled off and tucked away before any patrol walks up to my car... No wires to detach. Plus Solo2 picks up Laser but from what I understand it's too late if they tag you with Laser or Lidar?
