I dislike the auto function because of this as well.

I just don't use Auto.

I leave it on auto. But if I'm driving in or out of my garage or under a tunnel/bridge I flip it to off real quick then back to auto. No big deal.

i believe there's a way to reprogram your auto settings at the dealership for sensitivity and delays. you can look into that. but i really think that you shouldn't worry about it going on in the garage since it's on for at least about a minute anyway. just try not to flash it too much times i guess.

I cant believe you guys are actually worried about this. I leave my lights on Auto the entire time. I find this threads complaint pretty rediculous personally.

My only complaint is that the lights dont come until its very dark out. I usually have to manually turn them onto lights when its slightly dark or raining out. I usually like to keep my daytime lights on when I drive in the daytime. I wish there were someway to have those come on auto.

doesn't this defeat the purpose of auto more or less?

you might as well leave it on all the time and just turn it on when it's dark

No... It doesn't defeat the purpose of auto. I don't want the HIDs to come on for a short time and then turn off. This only happens when I'm pulling out of or into my garage. If its at night, then I leave it on auto and let them stay on for how ever long they take to turn off.

Go to the dealer and ask them to change the BCU setting to increase the delay before the lights come on
