Who knows maybe the Eclipse was a sleeper? haha You should listen for high pitched noises at idle to see if he has a massive fuel pump, that usually tells you whats going on, not so much the BOV

WoW!!!! Just WoW!!! I've never heard that "ricer" definition!! WoW
Question, why are you in a forum....if you are not an enthusiast? You ruin forums....being so ignorant, just like people i know that drive BMWs and Mercedes that always get their a$$e$ owned by my "Cheap Japanese" Toyota Celica

You can have a BMW and still "rice" it out. These days, I consider a ricer a person whose modifications offer no performance benefit or other meaningful purpose whatsover. That includes huge wings, stickers for parts not installed, atezza (sp) lights, and terrible body kits. You can mod a civic with diginity and purpose or take a 330ci and turn it into an eye sore. Ricers don't just drive Japanese cars, but American and European as well. In simplest terms, Ricers are posers in the truest form. They differ from enthusiasts because an enthusiast thinks purpose first, thus what's under the hood is more important than what the public can see. The true enthusiasts is always seeking opportunities to elevate his or her driving experience no matter the car through classy and effective mods. The Ricer just wants to look fast.

ya thats the definition put this in the book, thats how i think of it, I had a 99 Prelude and it was modified but in no way rice, i had clean body kit and pure engine mods and tranmission upgrades that made the car drive and handle like a dream i put $10000 in it and every penny was worth it, put a smile in my face every time I drove it, you ignorant people that look down because of price of the car are truly spoiled bastards who dont appreciate the things in life that matter

i'd like the original poster and his side kicks to post again so they can be flamed somemore. it makes me feel better to let it all out.

I wouldn't say that rice is show but no go, but like someone mentioned earlier trying to look fast. I mean someone may have all cosmetic mods. but they may be done very well and absolutely no performance mods. I still wouldn't say that's rice.

Thumbs up

Deang35c6 and TheGest couldn't have said it better. Those are the correct definitions of "True Rice"

I don't know what everyone is talking about... Here it is right here,

RICE -an aquatic cereal grass grown widely in warm climates, esp. in asia.

I actually prefer my rice fried up with soy sauce, sesame oil, green onions and lup chong sausage.

I actually love eating sushi.

And I stick by my earlier posted definition of rice.
