Didn't want to rip up the dash to integrate my iPod so I made a holder that would clip onto the dash vent. Just cut up an old hanger and it works fine! This way I can also use it with my other vehicles. FM mod works great too! Will paint the brackets later, very easy to control from drivers seat. Nothing high tech, just easy.

The attachment on top of my iPod is an FM transmitter. It allows the music on your Pod to be played thru any radio tuned to channel 87.9.

i have a pretty cool way of doing it. i have an iskin on mine, the 40 gb sized one, and the clip that it comes with in the back of the iskin fits perfectly into place if you raise up the cubbyhole compartment and just snap it in pretty much. that is, if you dont have navi. works like a charm tho.

tape is definitely the better alternative. for some reason my tape deck jammed and i haven't had the time to take it into the dealer. im running the belkin fm transmitter right now and the sound quality is not as great, not to mention interference which is quite common.

Is there no AUX port in the back of our cd systems for a direct connection?

I don't understand why people use the FM modulators. They are HORRIBLE. Isn't the point of IPOD to have music that is near CD quality sound?
