New wheels have arrived

Hmmmm....Rays

Toyo T1-S 245/35-19's = 24lbs
Volks 19x8.5(front) = 22lbs
Volks 19x9.5(rear) = 25lbs

The stock's were pretty light being made by Rays as well, but the volks being wider and having more rubber, still weighed in lighter...Daddy Like

Stock vs. Volks

Size/Width Difference

How do you get around VDC acting up? What's the aspect ratio on the rears. Yes, Toyo's are very light and offer great grip. I think my 275/40/18 weigh 28 lbs.

Haven't had any issues with the VDC and as for the aspect ratio's, not quite sure what you mean?

You mentioned the 245/35/19 size which is assumed to be the front tires. What size did you go with in the rear? The "35" in the size is the aspect ratio, which is a percentage used to determine tire height in conjunction with the tire width. (Tire Height = .35 x 245) Probably too much info, but HTH.

Sorry, I meant what size are your rear tires? In order for VDC to work properly, there must be at least a .5" height difference between the front and rear tires. Anything less and it becomes a little too sensitive.

Very Nice! Waiting for the installed pictures next... I just got Maya STM in graphite/polished and will install them tonight. I also weighed them in:

Maya STM 19 X 9.0 Toyo T1S 245/35/ZR19 49lbs.
19 X 10.5 275/35/ZR19 57lbs.
3mm front spacer required for Brembo clearance.
Not worried too much about the weight, just the looks.

I have 275/35's on the rear....sorry, I forgot that info. Am downloading the pix of them installed now and will post up in a few, as well as in the Wheels forum.

As for my stocks, I believe I have a buyer already, but yes, they were the stock 05 19's. Will post them up for sale if the guy doesn't come through.
