Help No Brakes!

Hey guys, I just got an oil change done and guess what? I leave and my brakes basically do not work. I press the pedal down to the floor in order to stop the car. Could it be a cut line? Could the brake system need to be blead? No warning lights whats so ever. Any help please. Thank You.

You need to make sure you don't drive the car. Inform the guys that did the oil change of the problem. Unless you were experiencing problems before you went in for the oil change it sounds like those guys messed up your brakes.

Do a visual, if it's a cut line you should see some kind of leakage, plus your brake fluid resevoir will be empty. Could be moisture in the fluid, bubbles in the line, etc., but with those problems you should have seen something before it went for the oil change.

Have the dealer or a brake shop look at the brakes and tell you what's wrong. Dependent on what the problem is you (1) get the shop that changed the oil to foot the repair bill, (2) get the brakes repaired under warranty if it's a manufacturing problem, (3) you eat the bill if it's abnormal wear and tear.

I had brakes when I got the oil change. I had a brake job done at around 1000 miles ago. After I got the oil change they drove it through the car wash, I got into the car and noticed that the travel of the brake pedal increased significantly. It got worst this morning, now I have absolutely no brake except for ebrake. The fluid is at the max point. They tried to bleed the brakes yesterday and it fixed it momentarily. I am not sure if they bleed them properly. This wasn't the dealer that did the oil change.

I'd use my free infiniti tow to get it to the dealer and not mention the oil change.
Gotta find out what happened! They'll tell you if someone f-d it up. Then go after the oil shop if they did something wrong. Or it could be a coincidence!
