Can anyone verify the authenticity of this?

Everyone will, of course, believe what they want. Some will blindly trust tradition and monolithic corporations, some will trust what they read on the internet, some will think for themselves, some will dogmatically follow the rules.
Me, I went with the theory of drive it like it is meant to be driven. In other words, drive it hard from day 1. My prvious car was a 1990 300ZXTT which was driven hard from day one, and I took it all the way to 163k miles, with raised boost and numerous other mods. Sold it at that point to buy my G, and it was still running strong, over 400 rwhp at the dyno, and didn't burn any oil. I am doing the same thing with my G, and it drives just fine, thank you.
One testimonial does not a trend make, but neither does a manufacturers words in an owners manual the truth make.
