I was following a Z350 on my way home this evening, and I'll tell you, it is one great/sweet sound coming out of the exhaust! I have a G myself, but I never heard the sound from outside of the car, while driving it. When we go out to lunch, my co-workers (in merc C320) get behind my car and enjoy the sound of the exhaust. They keep telling me that they love the sounds of it! Now I know what they've been talking about.
Also, the back of the Z looks sweet. I wonder how the G would look with Z's back.

On another note, I was following a G35 coupe (Brilliant Silver) on my way home, about three days ago. It was on the NJ turnpike, and I followed him for about 10 miles (I am sure it was a great scene - 2 G's going 80 miles an hour. I wasn't going faster, because there was a lot of traffic ). I have a DG, and he has Silver. Once the traffic opened up, he switched to the middle lane. I pulled up to the guy (about 50 years old), but he didn't even notice me . So, I just pulled away. I wonder if you are in this forum (it was between exits 14 and 11). If you are, the car was a bit dirty - you should take care of it .

Anyway, tomorrow is supposed to be a nice day to take my baby out - first time in about a week that we'll get sunshine and no rain.

Ya, its hard finding people "into" cars even if they are driving nice cars. I've driven by a few Zs/G35s and haven't got much reaction. However, I was driving around my house and a 30-40year old guy in a truck pulls up and says "Is that car fast?" and I replied "oooohhhhh yeahhhh" then floored it when the light turned green.

 

That's true, about a week ago, I saw another guy in a silver coupe, with aero package on a 6MT, he turned his head and saw my G. We gave each other thumbs up .

 

Yeah the exhaust sound is incredible....I love it. During the OC gathering (pics are posted) we all rode up to a parking structure to take a picture. Hearing the sounds of several exhausts from G35's was exciting.

 

The stock exhaust sound is one of my biggest reasons of not going to an aftermarket system. It seems people who have switched have not been too excited about the new sounds their car is making.

I figure I'll just wait until there is a general consesus that a particular aftermarket system sounds better than Infinitis.
