Is the front fender of the G35 exactly the same as the front for the?

For the 350Z?

I am asking because I'm concerned about the interior fender rubbing/cracking/ruining! of my G35... I just purchased some 19x9 SSRs w/ 255/40/19 tires at the front... the guy who ran them had them on a 350Z... he said he had NO issues whatsoever w/ rubs up front...

I just put them on my G35 to take a look, and it looks like there's very little space for the axle to turn w/o the tire rubbing against the inside of the fender...

Is it just my imagination (I'm used to 18'' stocks)... ? Will this be okay?

I do believe you should be ok. I have 245/35/20s up front and I have no issues.

it depends on how low you are. if you're slammed or pancaked down to the floor, the 255's may rub. if you have a conservative height (say not more than 1.5in), then you should be ok.

6969 had to get the kintetics because it would rub running 255's.

If they do rub, you should change them to 245/35/19's up front.
