Hey guys,

I have a 04, G35 6MT. There's a sqeaking noice coming from the rear. I think it's either from the suspension or brakes. Has anyone run into this issue? If so, did you determine what was causing this and is there a fix???

 

I had that same problem. Usually would appear while coasting at around 30mph. The sound was like of a rocking squeak. Took it to the dealer who applied a TSB on it. It had something to do with the wheel bearing wearing out prematurely or something like that.

 

Actually, It's fine while going over 30mph. It only does it when I start from a stop or shifting from 1st to 2nd. It'll do it in reverse too.
What is TSB?? Sorry..I'm still kind of new to all of this.

 

i had the same problem...A TSB stands for Technical Service Bulletin...have the dealer replace your compression rods per TSB...

 

Ah heck I just started getting the same thing. Seems to be right when I take off and from the rear. I dont know when it started though because I can only hear it if my windows are down AND my radio is off which is rare, but I noticed it a week or so ago.

This is ridiculous...this is gonna be like the 4th TSB I've had to take it in for. 95k miles on my old Civic and it never had to go in for anything except the exhaust manifold at 90k miles....

I have the same noise. Only happens when I accelarate slowly from a stop. I fixed it rather easily......I just turn up the radio when the windows are down.

 

i had the same prob and the dealer fixed the rear axle seals.

 

just took my car in to tustin infiniti yesterday. i had the squealing for the longest time. when that sound started dying down recently, i began hearing the infamous clicking noise. they're gonna replace some parts on my axle. relieved i wont be hearing those noises anymore. so on to more mods.

tustin infiniti (so. cal) has the greatest service yet from other infiniti dealerships i've visited. they actually want to help you out.
