Theres a kid in my school, his faimly has alot of money and hes been wanting a G35 ever since he saw me pull into school first day this year. So hes been talking alot and today told me he ordered one. So I ask him to give me all the details...He told me he ordered an 06 Red G35 Coupe 5AT, that comes with a V8??!?! I told him I know I thing or two about nissan/infiniti and there future plans/goals and I know there is no V8 G35 comming out next year so here is my questons

1. Can you even order an 06 yet???
2. V8?? He told me he was sure of it, But I completely doubt it.. Im I like the last person to know or am I right?

the 2006 Infiniti M series has been announced and they still have a 3.5 V6 for the M35 and 4.5 V8 for the M45. I doubt Infiniti will release a different V6 engine or a G45 and have no one know about it. I say since your friend is already jealous of your ride, he just made the story up. Either that or he bought a M45.

No need to even question that! How would it be a G35 with a V8? An 8 Cylinder engine 3.5 liter? The same as the 6 cylinder? It wouldnt be a G35 otherwise, it would be a G45, which I actually hope they never release, only because I hate having the "lower" model

 

Just enjoy watching him demolish that car out of pure mechanical ignorance. Until then, just keep telling him you can't wait to see that new V8-powered '06!!

That kid's displaying his ignorance about cars freely for everyone to make fun of, so don't hesitate to make fun of him for it! I drives me up the wall when people go around announcing things that are just plain wrong information.

Besides, if Infiniti put a V8 in the G, it would step on the toes of the M35 and M45 really badly.
