OK, here's the idea. I don't know if this has been talked about or tried before, but here goes...
What if I take one of the TPS monitors off of the tires in my attic and install it on my spare tire? Would the TPS warning light not come on during drives in excess of 45 minutes?
Doesn't the TPS work via RF? If so, then wouldn't the one TPS in the trunk, if inflated to the 30 or 32 psi (coupe or sedan), eliminate this light from coming on?
Waddayathink?

I don't think one would do it.
The system is looking for inputs from 4 sensors
input missing = TPS alarm
Also wouldn't you just swap the spare instead of moving the TPS sensor?

I don't believe it will work. I have a buddy who changed a tire and ran on the spare in an Armada. The TPS light came on until he got the original road tire repaired and installed back on the ground.
