May Sales Number: Nissan/Infiniti Post Best May Sales Ever

NISSAN HIGHLIGHTS
· Best May ever for Nissan Division
· May sales for Nissan-brand vehicles of 82,440 units were up 16.6 percent when compared to last year with 76,570 units sold
· Altima (23,900 units sold), Murano (6,188 units sold), Armada (3,534 units sold) and Titan (7,441 units sold) had their best May
· Calendar year-to-date sales are up 17.3 percent with 395,139 units sold

INFINITI HIGHLIGHTS
· Sales for Infiniti were up 7.7 percent from last May with 11,079 units sold
· The M continues its strong sales momentum with 2,170 units sold
· Calendar year-to-date sales are up 6.1 percent with 54,801 units sold

G35 Sedan 3,030 G35 Coupe 2,236 = 5,266 Both are down compared to last year month numbers, but Sedan YTD is up 7.2%

TL=7,032 price is to hard to pass up for some.

3 series=10,608 with like a million of 3 models to choose from, plus the new e90, you'd think it be higher.

Dont have numbers for the IS300 or A4,or C-Class.

those are good numbers ... nissan is really pulling well in the last 3 yrs.

however it seems that the coupe isnt doing to well... considering those numbers should have been better as most cold weather states are in summer mode... with summer being the biggest season for the coupes.... winter time the sales are way down. so that should improve... if it doesnt i would say the dealers should give out more incentives ... at least in the north east market.

also you shouldnt compare the G's to the A3... thats in a different segment... the A4 would be a good compare... but if it was a typo then let it go.

There are too many coupes around. More people need to buy the 350z and G sedan.

I'm not surprised about the #'s. More and more peeps are getting a 'taste', and there are more repeat buyers too.
Kudos to Nissan for a decent product.

I noticed that my salesperson is dressing a whole lot nicer these days, and has nice new (expensive looking) eyeglasses. The G35 and M are making him a rich man!

But do I get any coupons for free oil changes or any discounts from my dealer? NO.
