Grinding when shifting from 3rd to 4th
Has anyone else noticed grinding when shifting from 3rd to 4th? i know that some have had problems shifting into 3rd....
and yes, i know that it is not driver error.
besides even if one was to be the worst driver in the world there is no reason that with 2800 miles on the car this grinding should start happening....
the grinding is happening sporadically however, and there is no specific driving situation in which it grinds, it just happens about 40% of the time when shifting from 3rd to 4th

Hmmmm...more and more tranny problems...as time progresses, the problems arise..
Maybe this should tell all of you ***** with spoons up your butts that think this tranny issue is a bad driver problem otherwise.

there was a TSB or some sort of bulletin out regarding the 2-3 grinding in the 6MT..... take it to your dealership and tell them whats wrong, they'll more than likely replace your transmission, although a final fix is not out yet

It sounds like a 4th gear synchro. Its under warranty, so its time to get an Infiniti loaner car. If they go into or replace the tranny, you should find out if your bring them some Redline MT-90 if they will put it in for you. This would definitely improve a lot on the stock fluid.

where is this bulletin/tsb about the 2-3 grind at? can someone give me a link? i didnt think there was a tsb on it..please let me know since my grind is becoming pretty annoying. thanks.

thanks for all of the replies. I am bringing my car into Crescent City Infiniti today so I will keep you posted on the outcome of the situation.
