Someone cut him off while they were reportedly at around 150MPH. He swerved to avoid slamming into the guy who had pulled in front of him and hit the wall. That's what I've been reading on 6speedonline and Ferrarichat. All I know is the driver was a pure enthusiast and nobody has had a bad word to speak about him. Motorsports lost a great man, from what I'm aware of.

And I really don't see what's so painful about seeing an exotic wrecked. It's a car, and if it isn't your car then it shouldn't really have any effect. Lifeless objects are destroyed each day.

Why are we talking as though only one person died? The captions clearly state that they BOTH were killed. And HockeyPlay, you don't want us to "take it the wrong way", but you leave us no other choice but to believe you care more about the car than the people inside. Your "apology" is half-hearted and only further demonstrates your insensitivity. Please do not post again in this thread unless you enjoy being humiliated.

It's instant and spectular and people who never knew anything about you end up scouring the internet learning about you and your passion for exotic cars.
i'd have to agree, my prayers go out to the families but really, two car enthusiasts going out in the blaze of glory traveling 150 mph in porsche gt. again, i think i can speak for everyone in saying that the members of g35driver.com send their regards to the families.

Probably because nobody on this board knows anything about the passenger. Just a guess.

It's a little easier to replace a $500k car than 2 lives...

My condolences to their families and friends.

Damn the caption under the picture makes it seem as if they were street racing, they could have at least put the venue. Sad thing for the family of the driver and the passenger, the car can be replaced.

oh come on, what the hell am i supposed to say?!?!? I dont think my apology could get any better than that, so shut the hell up. I didn't say it to be some self-centered, selfish jerk--I love cars, just as much as probably most of the people on this board, so when i see a $450,000 car destroyed like that, it is painful to see. So please, I said I was sorry and admitted that it was a dumb post, and I dont think there is anything else I can say to take it back.

Let's stay on point guys, and that is the terrible loss of life due to the accident.

HockeyPlay95 was just stunned by the damage to the ride. I'm sure he feels the same as we do, that loss of life is far more important than any material loss.

Colin.

RIP to the two car enthusiasts.

from looking at the car, it seems like the car held up the crash pretty well. Maybe the two guys die from the sudden whiplash to their necks.

I second that. Seems like the cabin area held it's own. Maybe they died in the fire.... Anyways, may they rest in peace.

Look at the picture carefully. It was a rear impact where crumble zone is the weakest. He could have walked away with massive injuries if it was a frontal impact. What a tragedy.

Look at the eighth photo. It looks like it slammed the entire passenger side into the wall.
