Fog Lights On Stock Bumper Update
Fog Lights On Stock Bumper Update
hey guys, im sorry but i ran into a little problem and now need your help, i linked the fog lights to the front side marker lights cable and they worked fine until i plugged in the side marker lights, then i lost my side marker lights my front turn signals(onlywhen i turn the lights on not when they are flashing) and lost also my stop lights, license plate lights, the warning indicator left side panel and the fogs that i installed. what do you guys think it could be? i checked all the fuses inside the car and the ones on the engine bay. they all seem to be ok.
c'on guys i need your help

Mayb you burnt out a wire somewhere because all these lights that blew out are all ran in the same line somewhere. Mayb its just the fogs. Did you try to disconnect the fogs and put everything back to normal and see if they worked? Electrical problems suck man...Good luck.
Ive read that some people that did the side marker bulb mod (flashes the corner
light with the front flashers) had ECU problems down the road. I would not wire
the lights to the factory wires other than the trigger wire to tap it into a switched
wire in the fuse box. Run new wires for your main power.
Try reverting back to before you did the wiring to see if the car works properly.
you could've blown a fuse, melted the relay, etc. Unless you smelled plastic
burning, i think your harness is okay.

Did you hook the fogs DIRECTLY to the marker? IF you did, you most likely blewa circuit or a fuse. The fogs draw way too much to hook them direct. You would have to use a relay and take power direct from the battery or some other high amp circuit.
I've blown all those lights before. Check the fuse box next to the battery. It's a 10amp fuse.
