Is it hard to match the color of ivory pearl?
IP is a very hard color to match for some body shops. i had the body shop try and match it up 3 or 4 times until they got close. i would take it back and that have them try to match it up some. it's a hard color because it's a 3 stage paint. good luck.
I would. I had a white (non-metallic) car back in 1991 that took some damage. The Nissan dealer handed it back to me after replacing the driver-side door skin and front fender with both looking noticeably whiter than the rest of the car. (Sound familiar?) I took it back and had them blend it in. They did. Car looked great after that. I've had three different body people over the years tell me that variants of white and silver are the toughest to match.
Your car gave me flashbacks. It looks exactly as my SE-R did before I told them to fix it.

drtech.. which shop did you get it done at?
if you want perfection, give Tommy @ 2020 autobody a call. www.2020autobodytech.com . They repainted my rear bumper due to a slight accident and the paint match is almost perfect on the IP.
