I'm looking for a grounding kit but don't know which one to get.
I kind of wanted the HKS, but have been reading alot about grounding gear kits.
Needed a kit with good instructions on how to install.
Has anyone installed a HKS grounding kit?

I've been reading about it.
I like the looks of the HKS kit though.

 

It's easy to make one. Cost like $30 to make a kit and you can find a high quality ground wires.

 

Yeah, just make your own.

You can guess where to ground at to get premium results.

Don't worry, the research Gordgee did to get the best possible results
isn't necessary.

I have to agree with BBB there is no other way to go than with Gordgee. I just installed the 6MT Performance System full 8 wire package on my 05 coupe.
Instructions are clear and straightforward, took just over an hour to install.

 

I got the 10 wire for the 5AT and it is SICK!!!!

 

Yeah. I think i'm going with Grounding Gear 10 wire kit also for my AT.
Working out details with gord.
Should be here in a few weeks.
I'm not really big on crawling under the car though. But...we gotta do what we gotta do.
I have to buy a new floor jack. Mine broke. Bad pump.

 

I just got the ST option where you don't have to crawl under the car. I still feel a good improvement over stock.

What do you notice about your car, after you install a grounding kit?

 

Sorry for the newb question....but what purpose does a grounding kit serve?

 

Your car will idle smoother immediately. You will also notice quicker responses from the manumatic and smoother shifts from automatic mode. Nothing else too dramatic.

edit: Oh yeah...the most dramatic thing is a better throttle response. I like this aspect the best.
