Anyone buy from Grubbs recently

I am looking to buying my g35 in a month or two. I was looking at the 4 houston dealerships, but I just checked out Grubbs in dallas. They had 179 G coupes in inventory!! This is probably more than all 4 houston dealers combined have on hand. Has anyone bought from Grubbs in the past few weeks?? What kind of deals are you getting? With the imminent release of the 06 and 179 units on hand I would imagine reallly aggressive pricing. I read some old posts about 500 above invoice, is this still true? Also I saw ads for 2 years free maintenence from one of the dealers, but is this a dealer perk or standard on all inifnitis? Thanks in advance.

Yes I do know that the 06 wont be out till sept, but I doubt they will sell 179 G coupes in 2 months. Any word on Grubbs pricing right now?

I tried twice to get pricing from Grubbs (2nd time left message for the sales manager) and never heard from them. I ended up ordering from Crest in Plano for cost + 500. (05MT, Nav, Premium, Aero, XM) Crest will not see 06 MT's until late December or early January 06. Crest quoted me cost on an automatic without hesitation and I am sure I could have gone less than cost if I really was interested in an auto trans.

Maybe Grubbs has excess inventory because they are not interested in selling cars ...........

Hey, all you had to say was, "buy from MY dealership"...GEESH...so obvious. You have a whole 5 posts and you're an expert on the business workings of the most popular and top selling dealership in the US. Interesting.

I am looking for an 05 Auto, so I know it wont be as hard to find a deal as a 6MT. Grubbs website has an ad for 3000$ off msrp on silver coupes, but I was wondering if they were still doing 500 over invoice on 05 autos.

Grubbs is a big time Freshalloy supporter. The sell the most cars in Texas. Also they have the best service/sales you can find. I agree with Randy. You obviously don't know Grubbs. Go over to freshalloy.com and contact them through email. They will get back to you pretty quickly.

GEESH .... all Grubbs had to do was call me back ...........Sewell and Crest had no problem responding.......... sounds to me like Grubbs needs to study how to be an expert on the business workings of selling cars ....... Its simple, there was opportunity and they "fumbled the ball"

Be patient and persistent with Grubbs. I ordered my car through their military program about 2 1/2 months ago. Ron Smith worked me through the whole process, really nice guy. They got my checks last Thursday and they are sending out my car through their shipping service. Says it takes 7-10 days for it to get to my front door.

I am almost losing my mind in anticipation of the car getting here but in the end it will be worth it. Especially in California I doubt I could have gotten the same deal anywhere else with the various factors involved: my patience and resolve to negotiate a good deal, the options I wanted, California pricing.

I recommend you trying to call Grubbs again.........

Hey Tom,

I bought mine from North Houston Infiniti and the 2yr maintenance is a dealer incentive...I've heard very good things about grubbs and they are very willing to work with you. If they have the inventory i'd definitely check to see if they have what you want before it's gone

I bought from Grubbs and was very happy. They returned my calls quickly. They picked me up from the airport in my car and drove me to the dealership. I was there for 15 minutes and then drove home to Austin. Very smooth.

I bought used so I can't comment on their new price. But the used price was the best I found - and I shopped for a month.

I guess I'll chime in too. I did try Grubbs, but was unable to get a deal done. Ralph Kinchen was a nice guy, but as soon as I mentioned I had a trade-in and that I was from out of town, they dumped me like some dirty laundry. I was expecting something like this, but was hoping for the best. The price they gave me on their car was competitive but they did not want any part of me or my trade-in. If I were you tomcatm, I would give them a try. Hell, I'd give them another try if I hadn't already gotten my car. I got it from Orr Infiniti in Shreveport, Louisiana. Don't ask. It's a long story. Take care.

I had a great dealing with Sewell myself. Crest & Grubbs didn't work out like I had expected.
