yes. If you come to a stop, you will stall of course, but you don't need to press the clutvh in to use the brake.

Try this one.......... You don't even need the clutch to shift gears!!! upshift or downshifts. Done properly, there is no grinding either. Of course, you will need the clutch to get going from a dead stop.

I remember that video and the G35 was pulling at the very end. It may have been that the S2K was letting off, but the G35 was definitely pulling at the end.

I remember when I saw that video last time, with my japanese friends, they said that the G35 driver actually said that if he didn't have to jockey for position with the other cars, he could've had more time to pass the S2000. I think even he said if he had a few more laps, he was confident he could pass the S2000.

I think the RX-8 driver kept making excuses for his car....

did you notice, at the end of the 2nd lap after the skyline finishes drifting around the corner and hits the straight away the driver slams on the clutch and shifts into 4th, but doesn't release on the throttle? this maybe a noob question but what is that??? i've never seen that before.

if you don't know what im talking about....fast forwards 3min and 30 secs into the video and watch his foot work.

I have a size 11 and I find it easy to heel/toe. I'd think it would be easier for ppl with bigger feet cuz you have more to work with. I'll be using my heel/toe skillz this upcoming Monday.

That's called speed shifting...I've done it at the drag strip...if done right, it won't hurt anything...you just have to make sure you don't slip up with your shift to the next gear...
