05 6MT Coupe In LA Port

My car has been in the LA port since aound June 1. I ordered my car in early april. Do you guys know how long the cars usually sit around in port before they ship them out to the dealership?

The original car I was supposed to get was sitting at the port. Usually they don't sit very long. If the dealer puts the request in for them, it should only take a few days. But if they put a hold on it, there is usually a problem with the car, ie. damage or problems with processing.

About a week or so unless there are some delays.

Port installed options comes to mind for me. Things like splash guards and such.

Anyone else know what other items are port installed?

All the splash guards and front lips are installed at the port.

The wing and diffusers can be installed from the factory or the port depending upon how you ordered it.

My car was sitting at the port forever too. Once my dealer put in a expedited request for it, it was here in a couple days. Ask your dealer to do this...

Hey sounds like something I do at work. I handle overseas deliveries for Volvo. Cars usually leave the port in about 2 weeks. Anyways there are numerous reasons why the car is sitting at port. The port broker didnt recieve paperwork to clear your car, not enough transporting trucks, etc. The worst case is, if its been sitting there for over 3 weeks (I think) it'll go into a general order and they impound your car at a warehouse. Of course you wont know all that. You just have to call the dealer and complain.
