Stupid Dealer pricing

Well i'm not anxious to by a 2003 CB g35 now but when i see one i stop and talk to the sales person

Dealer 1 fully loaded CB g35 27k auto- 29899
Dealer 2 Stock CB g35 27k auto- 28900

Sorry for this pointless thread, but something seems a little off about the stock price. there is no way i would leave the dealership with a stock car, or better yet at that price. By the way the CB is the only color i want this car in and won't settle for anything else. I could have a 04.5 black if wanted. Anyhow if you bored or want to bump your post count up just reply how you feel about those prices, adn the lack of difference

All that changes pretty quickly when you go to dealer #2 with dealer #1's information. "well this guy is selling a fully loaded one for one $1k more? Why shouldn't I buy from him?"

etc, etc

You can easily bounce them off each other.

Yea exactly when the guy told me the price i said that was a lot of money they were asking. Then he goes on to say there is probably some leway in the pricing. Like i said i just posted b/c i'm bored at work. I'm not sure they could make up any price difference in the 18"rims aero package/spolier, and the navigation. You'd have to drop the stock car down into th elow 20's for it to even be considered.

since the car would still be under warranty, why not buy from a private seller? you will end up saving at least a couple grand. i think a used '03 coupe goes for only about $25k in a private sale.
