Coupe seat discomfort?

I'm about to place an order for a G35 6mt, but I have one minor issue about the front driver's seat comfort. The seats are great except for bottom right bolster, where the seat adjustment switches are. The plastic switch housing seams to cause that bolster to have less give, and as a result I experience slight discomfort to the right side of MY seat. I'm no twig, but at 5'11 and 175lbs I'm not exactly overweight so I'm surprised it feels so tight.
Did anyone else notice this? After owning the car for a while do you get used to it?

Hey,

I am 6' 0" and weigh 235 lbs and I never even noticed it. Too busy driving and having fun.

Shazam! 6ft 5 in would be sticking out the sunroof in mine. You must be nearly horizontal on the seat back tilt!

Re: Coupe seat discomfort?

6'4" & 343lbs.

No problem with the comfort seat's right bolster (although I do have the problem with the right bolster popping when the seat rocks when accelerating/deccelerating).

Instead I have the problem with the comfort of the seat back's left bolster jabbing me in my left side. It's getting better. Either I'm learning how to position myself precisely in the seat such that it is no longer uncomfortable or I'm just crushing the whole seat to fit my anatomy.

Re: Coupe seat discomfort?

Keep in mind this occured to me when I was sitting in the demo in the dealer's lot...I'm sure you do tend to forget about it once you start driving!
I ordered an '04 anyways....maybe the factory will move the switch but I'll live with it either way...

Re: Coupe seat discomfort?

I have the same problem with the seats. Short trips are ok, but after about an hour you really start to squirm. There is a TSB for this issue for the sedan. I called Infiniti customer service to see if it would apply to the coupe and they said a new one for the coupe is in the works.

Re: Coupe seat discomfort?

When I lower the front of seat I don't feel it as much because my feet take more of the weight of my legs rather than mu thighs
