Need Some Help Fellow G35 Owners

I'm sorry if I'm not as versed in some of the stuff I'm going to be talking about. I just recently bought a 05 G 35 Coupe and was thinking about adding some modifications to it. My question is two fold. First what would you recommend doing that could add some horsepower to my car without spending too much money ie Intake, Air Filter, Exhaust, Racing Suction, Oil Filter, Cams, Spacers, Pulley's etc. Now I know very little about these things as I have never raced or modded a car in my life. So, please some advise on these things mentioned and what I should get. I've heard that some of these upgrades really don't give me much HP and some do so any help would be appreciated. Recommeding a brand would be helpful. Also please consider any possible damage to my car when advising please.

The second part of my questions is would doing any of these things to my car jeopardize my warranty on my car. If it does then I would really have some reservations about doing it. However, if it doesn't please list the things I can or can't do to my car from your guys experience. I heard that as long as the Infinity Dealer installs the equipment it should be covered is this true? Thanks in advance your guys help is much appreciated

Seeing as how this is your first post, let me be the first to welcome you here.

I'm not going to go into detail about the information you ask for, I'm only going to tell you that these things have been discussed hundreds of times over. All of the information you seek is already at your fingertips.

Start by going down into the modification forums and reading. You don't have to even do specific searches to gain a ton of information - more than you can absorb in a sitting. You'll quickly learn terminology, purpose, and effect of each of the mods you describe, plus a whole bunch of stuff you probably never considered.

Once you've done some reading and have a good idea about generalities, start doing searches (using the advanced search feature to narrow the results) to refine the information.

When you've done that, start asking questions of the members who have done what you've decided you want to do - they'll be able to point you in the right direction.

hope you enjoy your new car and these fine forums.

If you are worried about your warranty, don't mod the car! I know I am going to get flamed for this, but it is true, almost all dealers will hassle you if something goes wrong. I know about the Magnus Moss Act or whatever it is called, but if so said driver puts a cold air intake on his car and hydra- locks his motor, and doesn't know better to put the stocker back on do you think they will warranty it??? Nope ! Like posted ^^^^^^ go to the Modifaction section and read away. There are endless # of mods that you can do to make your car your own!! Whatever you fancy... Show Car... Drag Racer, Auto Cross, etc. The options are endless as long as your bank account is!!!
