Yes actually more, but Nissan says it's sufficiently broken in by 1200 miles to have a little fun.

If I had known at the time I picked up the car, yes I would have. I found out about it on this forum and asked my Cuz.

However, you might say that, yes, I did. I picked up the car in San Antonio (with 12 miles on it) and drove back home (150 miles) When I got to the wonderful twisty between Kenedy and Goliad (35 miles worth), I let it rip. No less than 90 the whole way. So far, (7800 miles on car) there is no oil consumption at all.

Exactly 2 weeks and I have 1,142 miles logged. Got my '05 6MT coupe with 17 miles on it. Been looking for excuses to drive the car every minute. First weekend took the car for a coastal weekend trip. Loved every minute of it.

This weekend, starting this evening, I'll be opening the G up a bit more.

Regardless of your miles logged during the break-in period . . .
Just enjoy your cars and have lots of safe fun.

I drove my car all-out the minute I got it.

I think the whole break-in period is seriously over blown.

^^ What do you want me to bet that the '06 will be out before your car is broken in?
